Pine Cone Flowers
For this homemade wedding centerpiece craft you will need several pine cones, wire cutters, floral tape, green paper, scissors, wire, a hot glue gun, hot glue sticks, and glitter. Start by breaking pine coned in half to remove the pointed sides.
Next roll the ends of a 6 inch piece of wire into a spiral about half an inch in diameter and glue the bottom of the pine cone to the wire. Next cut leaves from the green paper and tape them to the wire in varying spots. Wrap the entire stem with floral wire and add some glitter to the center to finish the flower look of this homemade pine cone wedding craft. Now place the pine cone flowers in a vase and your wedding centerpiece is complete.
Pine Cones and Candles
Another homemade wedding centerpiece craft idea that utilizes pine cones is a candle centerpiece. For this wedding craft you will need pine cones, a hot glue gun, several pillar candles, ribbon, hot glue sticks, and scissors.
Start this homemade centerpiece by tying a piece of ribbon around the center of each candle. Tie the end of the ribbon into a bow, and add a little glue to secure it from coming undone. Next glue the pine cones around the ribbon vertically until the entire ribbon is covered. Complete several candles for your centerpiece and arrange them on your wedding table to finish this homemade wedding craft.

Candleholder
Pinecones can make lovely candleholders, and all you will need for this homemade wedding favor is pine cones, ribbon, a hot glue gun, hot glue sticks, scissors, and a jar. Start by thoroughly cleaning and drying the jar to remove any oil your skin has left behind.
Run a line of hot glue down the length of a pine cone and press it onto the side of the jar. You can arrange the pine cones horizontally or vertically, but remember to cover the entire jar with them. When the glue has cooled, wrap the jar with the ribbon, and tie the ribbon into a bow. Add a drop of glue to the back of the bow and press it into the pine cones. This homemade wedding favor is great for a green wedding.
Pine Cone Frame
For a unique green wedding favor try a pine cone frame; your guests will love displaying pictures of your wedding in this homemade favor. For this craft you will need pinecones, a hot glue gun, a frame, a paint marker, and glitter is optional.
Add some glue to the side of the pinecones and sprinkle them with glitter. Find a quote about love that you like and write it across the top of the frame, but leave room for the pinecones on the corners. Glue the pine cones on to the corners and sides of the frames in any pattern you like. This homemade wedding favor allows you to be creative, green, and romantic, and your guests will love it!

Many Pearls, Brooch Bridal Bouquet for Vintage Themed Wedding

A darling customer contacted me awhile back about a bridal party package with a vintage theme. She was interested in my vintage brooch bouquets, and together we came up with a gorgeous and completely unique package.

This package is a 13 piece including a bridal bouquet, 2 bridesmaid bouquets, 6 boutineers, and 4 corsages. It is made on a base of hydrangeas, with handmade satin and lace peonies and satin roses. It has gold and silver brooches and a ton of pearls. My wonderful client loved the ideas of pearls and jewelry for all the parts of the package, and I loved incorporating the pearl jewelry into the corsages and boutineers. This vintage style bouquet package is charming and perfect for a vintage style wedding. I really enjoyed working one-on-on with this client, and I will definitely be making some matching wedding hair accessories and a bridal sash in this style because I love it so much!

Thank you Kristen for the inspiration; this bouquet set was a lot of fun to make. I wish you the best in your marriage and all future endeavors. Thank you for making me a part of your special day!
